Oxford Foundation School have produced a prospectus, with useful information for the Foundation Programme and individual job descriptions at different trusts. It can be found here.
Teaching
Teaching is through Trust-based weekly teaching.   On the Trusts and Hospitals page, you can find documents providing general information about each of the Trusts (including the format of teaching), and also a profile of each Trust and their hospitals.
Study Leave
A proportion of the study leave available is allocated to the formal education programme. This varies by Trust, but usually leaves 5 days per 4-month rotation available on discretion.

Up to 5 days are available for trainees sitting exams, and F1 trainees can transfer 5 days of study leave for Tasters.

You can find Oxford's policy on study leave in this document.
Training Options
Providing eligibility criteria are met, Less Than Full Time (LTFT) training may be undertaken in a post suitable for part-time training, or supernumerary funding may be available. On-call commitment is not essential, provided there is suitable daytime emergency experience.

Overseas training opportunities in F2 are supported after individual application and consideration.  More information can be found at the FY2 Abroad page on the School's website.
Swap Shop
Swaps across rotations during F2 are allowed (following an application and approval process). The policy can be found here.

Academic Foundation Posts
There are 24 posts are available.   For most there is a dedicated 4 month rotation during F2, though the format may differ in some specialties.  There may be one day a week protected time for academic work during some of the rotations in F1 and F2.

Oxford encourages its academic trainees to select their own areas of interest for their research.  Consequently their available jobs are not specifically linked with a specialty for the academic research rotation.  Academic trainees are invited to take present grand rounds, participate in journal clubs, and may attend courses relevant to their research and research skills.  Trainees can also develop their teaching skills through training opportunities.  You can find more information on the Oxford University Clinical Academic Graduate School website.

Rotation details are available for download here on the school's website.  The posts are based in various Trusts for F1, and are mainly based in the Oxford University Hospitals Trust for F2.
Medical Education Posts
Oxford's academic foundation programme posts are not tied to specific specialties, and trainees are encouraged to follow their own interests in finding a suitable supervisor for their projects.  There is no indication on the school's website as to whether the academic posts can feature medical education in a formal capacity.
